A vintage IKEA floor lamp in a classic shape. This lamp was designed in the 1980s as a part of the Stockholm series – a range of products with a focus on quality, function and materials. The first launch, presented in 1984, was designed in a collaboration between Karin Mobring and Tomas Jelinek. Karin Mobring was recruited to IKEA in the 1960s, in particular for her eye for materials and talent for designing comfortable quality furniture. She became the first female IKEA designer.
The lamp foot is made from beech and is paired with a cream coloured lamp shade with a gold coloured inside. The lamp is in a great condition, stable and clean.
